To restore MySQL databases from backups, follow these steps:
- Log in to cPanel using the link http://domens.lv:2083 (where domens.lv is your domain name)
- IMPORTANT!
- If the database has been deleted from the "phpMyAdmin" section of cPanel, then it must be created blank to be able to restore your missing database. If an empty database is not created, it will not be possible to restore it from Data Backups. The database can ONLY be restored with the SAME name as it was in the original. It is NOT possible to restore database under a different database name.
- Restoring a database from a backup will overwrite it on top of the existing database.
- If you also need to save the existing database, you can do so by using PHPMYADMIN to copy the existing database to a new database or by creating a MYSQL DUMP for the existing database. - After logging in, find the Files section and click on R1Soft Restore Backups. To log in, use the same credentials as the cPanel main user.
- Select the date from which you want to restore MySQL databases.Click on the database icon.
- Select the database you want to restore and click Restore Selected.
- When restoring database please choose "innodb_force_recovery 1" or "innodb_force_recovery 2"
